After graduating from Northwestern University, I had the wonderful opportunity to work for several non-profit organizations in the metro Atlanta area. I had the best of both worlds, helping the world become a better place for underserved populations and organizing people and programs to accomplish the task at hand.
My twenty years of professional work experience taught me valuable life lessons about vision, personal assessment and action plans. I learned the importance of seeing the big picture so I could direct the people I organized to take the small and measurable steps needed to reach important goals.The volunteers I worked with appreciated the focus I provided so they could stay on task, on track and on time. Indeed, together, we raised millions of dollars for valuable community causes.
After taking a ten year break to tend to my young children, I decided it was time to return to the working world. When I researched home based businesses, I found my dream job in the Professional Organizing industry. Here was a field that would allow me the flexibility of setting my own schedule, while training others how to improve the quality of their life with organizing strategies. My clients inspire me with their determination to use the tools I give them to make their lives more efficient and less stressful.
Captured Clutter...organizing therapy, LLC was formed to help overwhelmed people manage their excessive paper flow, out of control schedules and dysfunctional space. My clients have taught me that no one has the same organizing issues and everyone has a different learning style. So I work very carefully with my clients to understand their personal needs, goals, and vision. My clients learn to articulate what is causing their stress, how they envision a better tomorrow, and what steps they need to take in order to see results.
